The Pokemon Company has passed along an official announcement recapping all of the news from the August 2022 Pokemon Presents. Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet were obviously the big focus, but other mobile games and news was touched on as well.

Here’s the full roundup:

For the special Pikachu, this will be made available to all players that buy either of the games early. It can be claimed by choosing Get via Internet from the Mystery Gift feature up until Tuesday, February 28, 2023. The special Pikachu will have Flying as a Terra Type and knows the move Fly, which it normally cannot learn.

A key element of Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet has been introduced with The Pokemon Company providing information about the Terastal phenomenon and Tera Raid Battles.

With the phenomenon, which only happens in the Paldea region, Pokemon shine and glimmer like gems. After a Pokemon Terastallizes, a Tera Jewel appears above the creature’s head like a crown, and its glistens like a cut gemstone.

Fidough is a squishy Pokemon that are smooth to the touch. Paldean Wooper lives on the land and covers its body with a poisonous film. Finally, Cetitan has a large body and a hard horn that can freeze its surroundings.
