Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Tying in with the start of March, the wildlife in Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been updated. The lineup of bugs, fish, and underwater creatures has been swapped out in both the Northern and Southern Hemispheres today.

Sea of Solitude: The Director's Cut

Sea of Solitude: The Director’s Cut was announced for Switch at the end of last year. Quantic Dream confirmed it would distribute a physical version in Europe, but it looked like fans in North America were essentially locked into a digital-only option. Thankfully, that’s no longer the case.

Limited Run Games has announced that it will offer its own physical release of Sea of Solitude: The Director’s Cut for fans in the states. You’ll be able to pick up a copy tomorrow, March 2.

Limited Run Games will have pre-orders here at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe.

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance, the last chapter in the roguelike twin-stick shooter series, has been officially confirmed for Switch. Nicalis and Edmund McMillen shared the news today.

Robotech: The Macross Saga HD Edition

Back in 2002, the side-scrolling shoot ’em up Robotech: The Macross Saga launched on the Game Boy Advance. Now nearly twenty years later, the game has returned on Switch.

Robotech: The Macross Saga HD Edition is currently live on the European and Australian eShops, and should be rolling out to other regions shortly. It comes with “new 3D models, dynamic lighting, enhanced effects, and high-definition backgrounds.”

What Comes After

The side-scrolling adventure game What Comes After is heading to Switch, Flynns Arcade and Rolling Glory Jam announced today. A release is planned for April 1.
