Monster Hunter Rise

Capcom has shared a series of videos for Monster Hunter Rise. We have the full Digital Event, a new trailer, and “Hunting 101” videos for the Wirebug and Wyvern Riding.

Monster Hunter Rise demo

After announcing a demo for Monster Hunter Rise at The Game Awards last month, Capcom shared more news during a digital event that is currently on-going.

Let’s get the big news out of the way. Switch owners can see what Monster Hunter Rise has to offer when the demo launches today. It will be distributed via the eShop until February 1.

Players will be able to take on a Beginner Quest, Intermediate Quest, Basic Training Quest, and Wyvern Riding Training Quest. The Beginner Quest and Intermediate Quest can be played solo, but they also support local and online play.

S.U.M. - Slay Uncool Monsters

Doomster Entertainment has announced that S.U.M. – Slay Uncool Monsters, its math dungeon crawler, is making its way to Switch. The game is scheduled for release on January 12.

Ninjala

A new update has gone live for Ninjala, which introduces Season 4 for the game. It includes new weapons, a new stage, features and improvements, and more.

Nintendo Switch

The latest Japanese hardware sales from Famitsu are as follows:

It’s not quite a Nintendo Direct, but Capcom will be hosting a Monster Hunter Rise Digital Event not too long from now. Fans can look forward to “big news” and reveals starting at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM in the UK / 3 PM in the UK. A demo was previously announced for this month, so it’s possible we’ll be hearing more about that today.

Bandai Namco announced today that it will be bringing a pair of SD Gundam titles to Asia. SD Gundam G Generation Genesis and SD Gundam G Generation Cross Rays Platinum Edition will both launch on March 25. This is significant as both titles will support English.

Among Us

In a recent news post sent out to Switch owners, Nintendo provided a listing of the top 15 European eShop downloads for December 2020.

Among Us was a major release during the month, so it’s no surprise to see it topping the charts. Immortals Fenyx Rising also manages to break into the top ten.

Arcade Archives Shanghai III is out now on the Switch eShop. Arcade Archives Rod Land will be available worldwide on January 7.
