Psydra Games is putting the Metroidvania-style platformer Mike Dies on Switch next week, the developer has announced. It’ll be launching on February 25.

WE have the following overview and trailer for Mike Dies:

Island

Island, a visual novel first released in 2016, was confirmed for Switch earlier this month. That news came in from Famitsu, which had news about the title for Japan.

We’re not quite sure yet what Prototype’s plans are for the west. That being said, English text is confirmed thanks to the official website. Even if Island stays in Japan, you should be able to purchase the game from the Japanese Switch eShop and finish up a playthrough without any issues.

Island will arrive for Switch in Japan on April 8. We’ll let you know if there’s any news for the west.

Neowiz and Mad Mimic are bringing Dandy Ace to Switch, the two sides announced today. The fast-paced roguelite action game will arrive on Nintendo’s console this spring.

Here’s an overview of Dandy Ace:

This month’s issue of V Jump provides the latest news on Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. Bandai Namco is still going strong with DLC for the game, and fans will soon be able to vote on the next character.

Bandai Namco will be hosting a poll with three different possible characters: Ultra Instinct Omen Goku, Bergamo, and Dyspo. The one with the most votes will ultimately be added to the game.

Other new Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 details include:

Toadette

Most Mario games only have you playing as Mario himself, but Super Mario 3D World is a bit different. Other characters from the Mushroom Kingdom can be used and even have their own abilities and gimmicks.

Toad is fully playable in Super Mario 3D World, but Toadette is not. However, based on a bit of datamining, it seems that Nintendo at least toyed around with the idea.

Cybattler was confirmed as this week’s Arcade Archives game on Switch earlier today, and Famitsu showed off the title during a live stream earlier today. Check out the full recording below.
