Arcade Archives Super Cobra

Arcade Archives Super Cobra is releasing on Switch this week, Hamster has announced. The classic title will launch worldwide on October 15.

Super Cobra, which was created by Konami, debuted in 1981. The side-scrolling shooter has players navigating a helicopter across eleven different areas.

Pricing for Arcade Archives Super Cobra is set at $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29.

Eastasiasoft and Proud Dinosaurs today announced that Macrotis: A Mother’s Journey, a 2.5D puzzle-platformer, is on the way to Switch. However, a release window has not yet been shared.

Bloom Digital has announced that Later Daters Part 2 is launching on Switch on October 29. Check out an overview and trailer below.

Two new events start today in Fire Emblem Heroes.
First, the latest Hall of Forms is now live, and players can clear a map every day to earn rewards. This event features the Heroes Camilla: Flower of Fantasy, Corrin: Dream Princess, Corrin: Dream Prince, and Xander: Dancing Knight>

Additionally, the latest Mjölnir Strike is now live, featuring an enemy army led by Travant. The Brace Phase will last from today, October 14 until October 16, Shield Phase from October 16 to 17, and Counter Phase from October 17 to 18.

Horgihugh With Friends is an almost-original reboot of iOS and PC game Horgihugh. It features new weapons, stages, and enemy characters, a number of new characters to enliven the story, and a new “Eterday Restoration Mode.”These new features are a wonderful addition to the game’s first console release. This Horizontal side-scrolling shoot-em-up doesn’t have a Western release date, but will be available in Japan sometime in February 2021.

Smash Bros. Ultimate - Minecraft

Earlier tonight, the new Steve and Alex Minecraft DLC launched for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. We’ve rounded up several videos showing off the latest content below.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 9.0.0

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate just received its major 9.0.0 update a short while ago. Aside from supporting the new Minecraft DLC, it also includes a bunch of fighter adjustments.

Super Mario Bros. 35

Nintendo has announced the next Special Battle for Super Mario Bros. 35. Courses are the focus here, and stages between 3-1 and 4-4 will be featured.

The new Special Battle event goes live on October 16. It’ll be live until October 19.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate version 9.0.0

Nintendo just released the new version 9.0.0 update for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It can be downloaded immediately by going to the Switch home menu, selecting the icon without starting the game, pressing the + or – button on your controller, choosing “Software Update”, and finally “Via the Internet”.

As a reminder, the new Steve / Alex Minecraft DLC is the highlight of today’s update, which ties in with Fighters Pass Vol. 2. Those that buy the latest content can also access the Minecraft World stage. Additionally, new Mii Fighter costumes can be purchased separately, including Travis Touchdown from No More Heroes.
