Eiyuden Chronicle

Eiyuden Chronicle has achieved massive success on Kickstarter after the campaign went live earlier today. In just a few hours, the project already exceeded $1 million. In addition to the main funding goal, the console stretch goal has been met as well.

Based on what we’ve heard from Rabbit & Bear Studios, we should be seeing Eiyuden Chronicle on some sort of Nintendo console. Whether it’s Switch or something else, however, remains to be seen. A new Nintendo console is clearly the team’s goal, but it sounds like they’re willing to put in the work for a Switch version as well.

Cubers: Arena

As we heard last week, the gladiator-style arena brawler Cubers: Arena will be making it to Switch this week. Check out some footage below.

Cubers: Arena will be sold digitally for Switch via the eShop.

Thalamus Digital is porting Pug Fugly Games’ platform shooter Destructivator 2 to Switch, the developer has announced. The game should be available on Nintendo’s console later this year.

Ultra Foodmess

Silesia Games will publish Painful Smile’s competitive party game Ultra Foodmess on Switch next week, the company has announced. It will be available on August 6.

Synergia

The visual novel Synergia is coming to Switch, publisher Top Hat Studios and developer Radi Art have confirmed. A release window was not shared as part of the announcement.

A new update for Freedom Finger is now available. It includes more language support, improves to graphics and UI, and bug fixes.

Eiyuden Chronicle

Eiyuden Chronicle, the new RPG from the creators of Suikoden and the just-established Rabbit & Bear Studios, has just launched its Kickstarter campaign.

The main funding goal sits at about $500,000. A console stretch goal awaits at $1 million, which includes support for Nintendo platforms.

Regarding a release on Switch or Nintendo’s successor to the console, Rabbit & Bear Studios states:

Fairy Tail Photo Mode

Fairy Tail will be receiving a Photo Mode update next week, Koei Tecmo and Gust have announced. It’ll be made available in the form of a free update.

Also announced today is new DLC for the game. Lyon Vastia, Levy McGarden, Lisanna Strauss, and Elfman Strauss will be added as new playable characters. Note that Lisanna Strauss and Elfman Strauss are packaged together.

Lastly, on the same topic of DLC, there will be 48 pieces of costume DLC arranged into three sets. They are as follows:

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers

Fans have been waiting for news regarding the localization of Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers since the game’s announcement and release in Japan. Now thanks to Koei Tecmo’s financial report, it appears that a western release is officially happening.

One of the presentation slides included in the report is dedicated to Koei Tecmo’s future titles. For the “packaged games” category, Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers is included, and the planned release region is listed as “the west”.

112th Seed

Eastasiasoft announced today that it will be bringing 112th Seed to Switch this week. The retro-inspired puzzle platformer, made by Nerd Games and Slider Games, is due out on August 6.
