Trials of Mana

Square Enix today announced its lineup for Gamescom 2019.

Trials of Mana will be appearing at the show, where it will make its global debut with a new demo. Other confirmed titles include Marvel’s Avengers, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XIV Online, and Kingdom Hearts III.

Square Enix will be located at Gamescom in Hall 9. The show itself runs between August 20 and August 24.

Omen Exitio: Plague is coming to Switch, Forever Entertainment has announced. Other than “soon”, a release window hasn’t been confirmed.

Ratalakia Games has announced that it is putting Sagebrush on Switch in just a few days. The first-person narrative-driven adventure game is slated for August 9.

It’s a busy day in Fire Emblem Heroes, highlighted by Changing Winds as a new summoning focus. Hilda: Idle Maiden, Hubert: Sinister Servant, Mercedes: Kindly Devotee, and Petra: Princess of Brigid from Three Houses are featured.

Forging Bonds: Changing Winds is also live, in which players can forge bonds through battle and gain friendship. Grow close to all event characters to unlock and view a special conversation featuring Heroes from Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

Also note that Countering Weapon Skills is being hosted in Fire Emblem Heroes today only, a two Special Orb Promos are running for August and the summer.

Nintendo Switch

According to a new report from The Wall Street Journal, Sharp will supply its IGZO display panels for new Switch models. That news comes from executive VP Katsuaki Nomura.

Dr. Mario World just updated with a bunch of new content.

New doctors are here, including Dr. Wario, Dr. Waluigi, and Dr. Daisy. Monty Mole, Thwomp, Fuzzy, and Mechakoopa have also arrived as assistants.

World 6 is also live in Dr. Mario World, featuring stages 201 through 220. This area has mines filled with obstacles, but by clearing it, you can earn the Bob-omb Assistant. World 5 must be cleared before accessing World 6.

Arcade Archives XMultiply will arrive on Switch this week, Hamster has announced. A release is planned through the eShop on August 8.

Irem originally made XMultiply in 1989. It’s a side-scrolling shooter in which players use the microscopic X-002 space craft to take down alien parasites that have invaded a human host.

Arcade Archives XMultiply will cost $7.99 / €6.99 / £6.29 on the Switch eShop.

SEGA has announced the official theme song for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39, titled “Catch the Wave” by kz of Livetune and featuring Hatsune Miku.

Following the recent announcement that Atelier Ryza would feature a “Gathering Point Synthesis” system, it has been confirmed that players will be able to share the gathering points they create with others. 

After creating a gathering point, players will be able to share a four character password with other players in order to give them access.
