We have a new wave of screenshots for the 3DS remake of Luigi’s Mansion. Take a look at a bunch of images in the gallery below.
Nintendo announced the final release date for Luigi’s Mansion on 3DS this week. North America will have it on October 12, with the European release happening a week later on October 19.

Nintendo has been keeping quiet thus far on how players will go about unlocking characters in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. In the past, director Masahiro Sakurai has said that the initial roster will be small, and wants the process of gaining new characters to be interesting.
amiibo listings on Best Buy Canada may give some information about one way in which some characters can be unlocked in Smash Bros. Ultimate. Information included within pages for Wolf, Inkling Girl, and Ridley mention tapping their figures to add them to your game.

GameStop Ireland lists physical version of Surgeon Simulator CPR

Surgeon Simulator CPR may have a chance at a physical release. Although we don’t have a confirmation at this time, GameStop Ireland has a listing up on its website, which indicates a retail version.
Surgeon Simulator CPR is coming soon, though a release date hasn’t been set. Bossa Studios will be announcing when the game will be available shortly.
Diablo III devs – Switch is “the next evolution”, frame rate / resolution talk, scrapped touch controls

GameSpot recently spoke with Diablo III Eternal Collection producer Pete Stilwell and associate producer Matt Cederquist about all things Switch. The two discussed how the system’s various features make it “the next evolution”, Diablo III’s tech specs on the platform, scrapped touch controls, and more.

Yacht Club sharing “first look at an all new game coming to Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove” next week

Yacht Club has been quiet as of late, but that’ll be changing very soon. The studio has teased a “first look at an all new game coming to Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove” that will be revealed next week.
We’re not sure when exactly the news will drop, though we’ll let you know as soon as it’s shared – which will come from IGN. Yacht Club will likely have a presence at PAX West and may even have a presence in the upcoming Nindies Showcase, so stay tuned.

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy reveals Thief Arthur from Square Enix’s Million Arthur: Arcana Blood

Square Enix held a tournament for Million Arthur: Arcana Blood today. During the event, a surprise announcement was made for SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy of all games.
Thief Arthur from Million Arthur: Arcana Blood will be joining the SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy roster. She’ll be appearing as a DLC character.

A.N.N.E confirmed for Switch

Way back in 2013, A.N.N.E was funded on Kickstarter. Developer Gamesbymo originally planned on a Wii U release, but has unexpectedly decided to go in another direction.
The developer confirmed on Kickstarter that A.N.N.E will now be released on Switch instead. Nothing else was said beyond that, though we do know that the Wii U version has been officially cancelled.
