Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud released on the Japanese Switch eShop, service starts April 4

Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud is now available for download on the Japanese Switch eShop. But as we know, service won’t actually start until April 4. While you can download the game, you won’t be able to do much for now.
It’s worth pointing out that Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud has been notoriously difficult for those outside of Japan to access. Things could be the same on Switch, meaning fans in North America and Europe might be unable to play next month.
Phantasy Star Online 2 Cloud takes up 36.0MB of space.

World End Syndrome delayed to Summer 2018 in Japan

Visual novel World End Syndrome was originally supposed to launch on April 26 in Japan. However, Arc System Works has announced today that the game has been delayed to “Summer 2018” in order to improve its quality.
Currently, World End Syndrome has only been announced for Japan. We will keep you updated should a localization be announced, or if we hear about a more concrete release date for Japan.

Action platformer Spartan launching on Switch on April 1st

Developer Sinister Cyclops announced that their action platformer Spartan will be launching on Nintendo Switch on April 1st. The game is a throwback to challenging 2D platformers of the 80s and 90s. No Hollow Knight at Nindies Showcase today, but info on release date coming later this week

Hollow Knight is currently one of the most anticipated indie games announced for Switch. As such, many people were hoping that the game would be featured in the Nindies Showcase airing later today. Unfortunately, that won’t be the case – developer Team Cherry stated on Twitter that the game won’t be part of the Nindies Showcase. However, they said that info on the Switch version progress and the game’s release date would be coming later this week.

Fifth Pokemon Ultra Sun and Moon global mission ends in failure

It feels like it has been awhile since one of the global missions has been failed, but the most recent one has ended short of its goal. It was intended for their to be one million Pokémon traded, but only 771,567 were actually traded. A gift of 1,000 or 2,000 FC is still available via the global link.
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Hou coming to Switch in Japan

The visual novel Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Hou is being brought to the Nintendo Switch in Japan by Entergram. The game will release July 26th for 7,980 yen. The game will have all nineteen of the original story’s chapters as well as three additional scenarios for the console’s debut.
