Dark Souls: Remastered for Switch and Solaire of Astora amiibo delayed to Summer 2018

Dark Souls: Remastered will no longer release for Switch on May 25, Bandai Namco has announced. It will now arrive sometime this summer.
Along with the game, the Solaire of Astora amiibo has also been pushed back to the summer as well.

Psyvariar Delta announced for Switch

Success Corporation and City Connection are partnering to release the classic arcade game Psyvariar Revision on Switch, according to Famitsu. It’ll be coming to Switch as “Psyvariar Delta”.
Psyvariar Delta, a vertical shooter, features high-resolution visuals, new modes, and other features. Development is currently 70% complete.

99Vidas gains exclusive content on Switch

99Vidas will have exclusive content on Switch, QUByte Interactive announced today. Two new levels, five different enemies including a new boss fight, new camera effects, and character skins will be added.

NBA Playgrounds 2 confirmed for Switch, launches this summer

Following up on yesterday’s classification from Australia, Saber Interactive has announced that NBA Playgrounds 2 is happening. The game is due out this summer.

Live2D adds support for Switch games made with Unity

Development tools for the Switch are ever expanding. The latest addition is Live2D – put simply, it allows developers to animate a character exactly the way they are drawn in 2D artwork without the need to create a 3D model and without having to draw every single frame of the animation. Nintendo is no stranger to this technology, as it has been used in Fire Emblem Fates, for example.
Today, Live2D Inc. released the Live2D Cubism software development kit for Switch, which allows game developers to integrate 2D assets made with Live2D Cubism 3 into Switch games that are being developed with the Unity engine.
Figment launches May 31 for Switch

Bedtime Digital Games, developer of Back to Bed, has confirmed a release date for its latest game. Figment will be available as a digital download from the eShop starting May 31.
Described as “a musical action-adventure set in the recesses of the human mind”, Figment is a musical action-adventure. Players will be solving puzzles and battling enemies in a hand-drawn world.

Juicy Realm now set for a Summer release on Switch, new gameplay video

We’ve known for a while now that X.D. Network’s top-down roguelike Juicy Realm is coming to the Switch. Today, they revealed some more information on the game. The release date has now been narrowed down to “Summer 2018”. The game will have two player local co-op, and it will be playable in English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. If you want to be among the first to check out the game before its release, you will need to Kyoto next month, where it will be playable at BitSummit 2018.
