In the latest issue of GamesMaster, the magazine shares some choice words with Super Mario Odyssey producer Yoshiaki Koizumi. Koizumi weighed in on how the Switch game encompasses previous 3D Marios, the theme of travel, and wanting to take advantage of the Joy-Con.

Below is a roundup of the various comments:

Super Beat Sports was originally supposed to be on the Switch eShop tomorrow. Unfortunately, that’s no longer happening.

Developer Harmonix said on Twitter a short while ago that Super Beat Sports has been pushed back. A new date has not yet been announced, but we assume that the delay won’t be terribly long.

Like many Atlus games, Etrian Odyssey V: Beyond the Myth will be sold with some special launch goodies. An official unboxing video showing off the full contents can be found below.

Two more Virtual Console games are landing on the North American Wii U Virtual Console this week. Nintendo’s website lists Digital Champ Battle Boxing and Motoroader for release tomorrow.

Here’s an overview of Digital Champ Battle Boxing:

iFun4All has announced that Serial Cleaner is coming to Switch. A specific release date hasn’t been determined, but it will be on the console by the end of 2017.

Serial Cleaner is a fast-paced stealth/action game. It places an emphasis on the story, which takes place in 1970s America. You play as a professional cleaner who cleans up murder scenes by disposing of bodies, cleaning up blood stains, and hiding incriminating evidence. However, you’ll need to do so without leaving evidence behind for the police.

Along with its story-driven campaign, Serial Cleaner also contains challenge modes. It promises multiple enemy types, replayability, and more.

A listing on the eShop shows that Elliot Quest is due out in Japan next week. The digital game is set to arrive on October 19 for 999 yen.

Here’s an overview of the game:

Fabraz has more in store for its 2D platformer Slime-san. Today, the developer shared details on what’s next for the game.

Switch owners will have access to the “Blackbird’s Kraken” DLC not too long from now. Fabraz intends to have it ready “in the next two months.” The free DLC features a new campaign with its own story and boss, 25 new levels (with New Game+), a new hub world, new mini-games, new target modes, new settings, online leaderboards for all levels, and more.

That’s not all. Those who haven’t jumped in on Slime-san will be able to try out the game soon. Fabraz is finishing up a demo and will be submitted to Nintendo soon.
