Major Tiny Galaxy update in the works
Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in News, Wii U eShop | 2 Comments
Sometime in the future, Tiny Galaxy will be receiving a pretty major update. Those who purchased the game will be able to grab the new version at no extra cost.
Arcane Pixel is remaking Tiny Galaxy entirely. The game will feature improved visuals, lowered difficulty, fixed hit boxes on all sprites, and a redesigned level select menu. A new start menu will also be included, along with more/better animations, audio fixes, and general bug fixes.
Challenge levels are also being added as new content, which can be unlocked in each world. While the main courses are estimated to be about a third less difficult, “challenge levels will be more brutal than the current build of Tiny Galaxy,” according to Arcade Pixel. That’s on top of a redone opening sequence and more story scenes. Arcade Pixel has also teased “a few other features or changes being made,” but the developer is keeping quiet on those for now as they’ve yet to be fully implemented.

Audition for new RPG has heavy Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE focus, resulting in sequel speculation

This month, Avex Group (in conjunction with SHOWROOM and Decoo), will be holding a public audition for a voice acting position in a new role-playing game. Japanese blog Hachima Kikou speculates that the news could hint at a follow-up of some kind to Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. It’s noteworthy as Avex produced the music in that very Wii U game.
There is no guarantee, but Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will have a strong presence at the event. In fact, participants will be asked to perform a song from the Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Vocal Collection. A couple of the judges were also involved with the title. Avex does have significant recognition in the music industry, though the company hasn’t worked on too many video game projects – the most prominent one being Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE.
