Trip World DX

Limited Run Games and Sunsoft today unveiled Trip World DX, an updated version of Sunsoft’s Game Boy classic. It will be brought to Switch as well as Game Boy Color.

Trip World DX isn’t just a port as it contains a new color version and numerous extras. Players can look forward to a museum mode, music player, and more.

Aeterna Noctis Pit of the Damned DLC

Original (12/15): Today, Aeternum Game Studios revealed new DLC for Aeterna Noctis known as “Pit of the Damned”. Switch players can get their hands on the content starting in early 2023.

GDC 2023 Kirby full panel

A special Kirby panel was held at GDC 2023 last month, and the full panel has now been uploaded officially online.

HAL Laboratory developers Shinya Kumazaki and Tatsuya Kamiyama were both on hand to speak about how they brought traditional Kirby gameplay into a 3D world with Kirby and the Forgotten Land, plus there was discussion about some features in the game like Mouthful Mode. The second part of the panel shifts to Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe with talk about how the team reimagined the 2D gameplay and the world of the multiplayer Wii title.

Indie World Showcase April 2023

Nintendo will host a new Indie World Showcase tomorrow, April 19, the company just announced. The event will go live at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET / 5 PM in the UK / 6 PM in Europe.

Nintendo says that the Indie World Showcase will be roughly 20 minutes long. Viewers can expect “reveals, announcements, and updates on indie games” for Switch.

Jack Jeanne release date

Aksys Games has nailed down a English version of Jack Jeanne, which is about to make its debut in the west. The company confirmed the title’s launch for June 15, 2023.

Jack Jeanne has been on Switch in Japan since 2021. Localization was confirmed a year ago.

Agatha Christie - Hercule Poirot: The London Case

Publisher Microids and developer Blazing Griffin today announced Agatha Christie – Hercule Poirot: The London Case, a new detective adventure game for Switch. The sequel to Hercule Poirot: The First Cases launches this summer.

The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo physical

Meridiem Games has announced The Many Pieces of Mr. Coo for physical release on Switch with two different versions.

The company will be responsible for the design, manufacture, and European distribution of both boxed editions. First up is the Fantabulous Edition, which will contain an exclusive Mr. Coo character keychain housed in an exclusively designed case with exclusive artwork for each platform. Also planned is the Coollector Edition, which will not only include the Mr. Coo character keychain and exclusive artwork case for each platform, but also adds a unique flipbook with two exclusive animated stories, a mystery watercolor by artist Nacho Rodriguez, a puzzle featuring the pieces of Mr. Coo, an artist’s book showcasing the creative process behind the art and finally a cultured 7” vinyl single with the music of the game composed by Julie Reier, all inside a spectacular collector’s box.

Arcade Archives Cosmo Gang the Video

For its latest Arcade Archives release on Switch, Hasmter has announced Cosmo Gang the Video. It will be available worldwide on April 20, 2023.

Cosmo Gang the Video, which was made by Namco, first debuted in 1992. The shooter has players destroying enemies while avoiding their shots. Power-ups are also included to mix up the action.
