Square Enix is back with another round of details for Octopath Traveler 0, this time covering Pardis III – the tyrannical monarch plotting to seize control of Orsterra – plus companions who will stand against his ambitions alongside you, and a few of the unique and unusual facilities you can construct through Town Building.

Today, MicroProse and Terrible Toybox confirmed that Death By Scrolling will be released on Nintendo Switch. Launch timing will be shared later.

Death By Scrolling is a vertically scrolling roguelike RPG. Ron Gilbert, who was behind Monkey Island and more, is leading development.

October 10: Evidence continues to mount that Assassin’s Creed Shadows is coming to Nintendo Switch 2. A retailer listing has now listed the game, which is a strong sign that an announcement is on the way.

French retailer Auchan is now listing Assassin’s Creed Shadows for Nintendo Switch 2. The page even includes the boxart, shown above. Unsurprisingly, we’re looking at another game-key card here.

Hollow Knight Silksong update 3

Another new Hollow Knight: Silksong has been announced, which is version 1.0.28891. If you’re not already seeing it on Nintendo Switch 2 / Switch, it should be out soon.

A ton of different fixes are included here. On top of that, there are some slight adjustments.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 release date

September 12: Monster Hunter Stories 3, which was announced not too long ago, has already secured its release date. Capcom will have it ready to go on March 13, 2026.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 was first shown off in a previous Nintendo Direct. However, it was initially given a vague 2026 launch window.

Pokemon Legends Z-A

Nintendo has updated the Japanese Switch and Switch 2 release schedule on eShop for the week of October 16, 2025. Various new titles are on the way, highlighted by Pokemon Legends: Z-A.

It’s been a wild past few days for Pokemon leaks, and even more news is surfacing from the “Teraleak” – specifically about original plans for Pokemon Legends 2 before it became Z-A.

First, Game Freak was originally planning on having the game set in Johto. Something changed along the way and the final title takes place in Kalos. As of now it’s unclear why the swap happened.
