Pokemon GO Hoopa

Niantic dumped a whole bunch of news for Pokemon GO today including a look at a new Evolution preview feature, Season of Mischief with Hoopa, and more.

First up, let’s talk about the Evolution preview feature in Pokemon GO. Niantic will soon make it possible to get a glimpse at your Pokemon’s post-Evolution CP before it’s actually evolved. The screen will show the current Pokemon and its CP, the Pokemon’s Evolution and its new CP, and the leagues the Evolved Pokemon would qualify for. The functionality should be going live in September.

Fire Emblem Heroes is hosting a new Summoning Event today. Here are the details:

  • Before the Voting Gauntlet: Chosen Family event begins Sept. 1, Byleth: Tested Professor, Lysithea: Earnest Seeker, Caeda: Talys’s Heart, and Ephraim: Sacred Twin Lord are available via a summoning focus! Your first summon in this event won’t cost any Orbs!

In addition, a new Voting Gauntlet is on its way:

  • Voting Gauntlet: Chosen Family starts Sept. 1, 12 AM PT! Train up the Hero you wish to support to get ready for the event! There’s also a Voting Gauntlet Log-In Bonus from which you can receive up to 13 Orbs!

Dragalia Lost

It seems that Dragalia Lost is going to receive a substantial change in its content release schedule going forward. Director Yuji Okada released a statement in an open letter to the community that the game will be experiencing “a reduction in the amount of content released each month going forward.”

This includes changing the number of new adventurers/dragons added to the game each month as well as the events that will be updated. Apparently, these changes will start going into effect November 2021, and December will see no new onslaught, defensive, and coliseum events being added for the remainder of the game’s lifespan.

While this is unfortunate, Okada assures players that the team is dedicated to the continual support of Dragalia Lost and their team is still preparing a lot for its 3rd anniversary in September and beyond.

Pokemon Masters EX anniversary

Pokemon Masters EX is about to reach its second anniversary. This weekend, the game will officially be two years old.

The Pokemon Company and DeNA have prepared a special trailer in honor of the event. We’ve included it below.

Pokemon GO radius

Pokemon GO players have voiced some concerns about the game in recent weeks, and more specifically, changes to the set radius. It wasn’t too long ago that Niantic was set on pulling back on how far players could interact with PokeStops and POI. Originally, things changed things up due to the coronavirus pandemic. But some since restrictions on entering public places have been lifted in recent months, Niatic was ready to change the official Pokemon GO radius back to 40 meters.

It turns out that will no longer be happening. On social media, it was announced that 80 meters will be the base interaction radius for PokeStops and Gyms around the world.

pokemon unite blastoise

Blastoise is finally joining Pokemon Unite, The Pokemon Company and Timi Studio Group revealed today. The character will be available on September 1 for all players.
