[Let’s Talk] Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase – August 2020 reactions

Another Nintendo Direct Mini: Partner Showcase is in the books. After the first presentation of its kind in July, it only took about a month for the next one. Also, as far as actual content and new announcements are concerned, there was noticeably more this time around.
Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, Collection of SaGa Final Fantasy Legend, Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythmic Adventure Pack, World of Tanks Blitz, Rig Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions, and Just Dance 2021 were the new announcements. Other games were shown as well, including Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory, which received a November release date. In case you missed it, you can find the recap announcement here.

Pang Adventures getting a physical release

A physical version of Pang Adventures is on the way as part of a new “Buster Edition”, DotEmu and Meridiem Games have announced. Copies will include a reversible sleeve, retro survival guide, and stickers set.
It currently seems that this physical version will only be released in PAL regions. However, fans in other regions should be able to import a copy without any issues.

Eiyuden Chronicle Kickstarter ends having raised $4.57 million, companion game on the way

Eiyuden Chronicle, Rabbit & Bear Studios’ spiritual successor to Suikoden, was a rousing success on Kickstarter. Fans backed the project with a total of $4.57 million – significantly more than the original $500,000 target.
Thanks to the Kickstarter success, many stretch goals were reached as well. These include new modes, mini-games, additional gameplay systems, and even an additional character. For one of the final stretch goals, a companion game has also been secured, which will be made by NatsumeAtari.
