Journey to the Savage Planet

Earlier today, 505 Games and Typhoon Games ended up bringing Journey to the Savage Planet to Switch as part of a surprise release. View some footage from the title below.

Journey to the Savage Planet is out now on the Switch eShop. A physical version will begin to launch around late June.

There’s no question that Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been well-received, but players would love for Nintendo to implement certain types of features and functionality. It’s unclear what sort of improvements are in the works, so some fans are taking matters into their own hands.

Hackers are using modded Switch systems and special software to cultivate the Animal Crossing experience to their liking. As one example, materials like wood and ore have had their limits increased from 30 to 99. Hackers have also made trading fish and insects possible with other players who are running the mod. Storing turnips in your house is also allowed, which certainly can come in handy. Crafting has also been improved by giving you “sets that spawn whatever materials you need for specific DIYs.

Just a short while ago, What the Golf? made its debut on the Switch eShop. But physical collectors will be happy to hear that a physical version is also happening.

iam8bit is taking pre-orders for the physical edition as well as a vinyl soundtrack here. Copies will come with an exclusive cover sheet with interior art and sticker sheet pack-in bonus. Only 2,500 units will be produced.

The physical version of What the Golf? and its vinyl soundtrack are expected to ship in Q3 2020.

We have a few screenshots showing off the new content below.

Bayonetta 3

PlatinumGames has been asked about Bayonetta 3 plenty of times over the past couple of years. The developer has given optimistic status updates, but we’ve still yet to see the game in action. Because of this, some fans seem to be holding on to the idea that the project has been cancelled. Fear not, however.

PlatinumGames’ Hideki Kamiya was again asked about Bayonetta 3 as part of an interview with VGC. Kamiya reiterated that it hasn’t been cancelled, and fans should “take any concerns you have like that and throw them out the window immediately”.

Kamiya said:

Indivisible

Indivisible is already available on the Switch eShop, but a physical version is also on the way. 505 Games has passed along some information as to when we’ll be seeing the game at retailers.

505 says that the physical edition is due out across Europe on June 25 / June 26, “with availability in the Americas in the days following as supply chain allows.” Also, in partnership with H2 Interactive, Korea and Hong Kong will have the game on May 28.
