Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition is being shown off for Switch at Gamescom 2019 this week. View some off-screen footage below.

Unlike past games, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield won’t make use of Pokemon Global Link. In its place, players will be able to use in-game features “equivalent to the current Rating Battle and Online Competitions”. Additionally, Pokemon Home will provide “services such as Rankings, Distribution Regulations”.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire was originally known to be Switch bound since February 2018. We haven’t had much news since then, but Versus Evil has now provided update.

As part of Gamescom 2019, Versus Evil announced today that the game will be released on Switch as Pillars of Eternity II Ultimate Edition. There’s still no word yet on a release date, but it’s said to be “coming soon”.

Giants Software made Farming Simulator for Switch back in 2017. After a couple of years off, the series will be back on the system once again with Farming Simulator 20.

Farming Simulator 20 has been spotted for Switch at Gamescom 2019. Though we don’t have any details at this time, we expect to hear more soon.

Nintendo today announced its full lineup for Gamescom 2019. Aside from expected titles like Zelda: Link’s Awakening, fans can also play a few titles for the first time, including The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Trials of Mana, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Panzer Dragoon: Remake, the just-announced The Touryst, and more.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Nintendo has started to launch the pre-load option for Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Currently, digital pre-orders are live in Europe and Japan. North America should be following soon.

Those in Europe can take advantage of a new My Nintendo offer. If you pre-load the game, you’ll receive double the Gold Points when it’s released. Buy it on the eShop before September 22 to receive £5.00 worth of Gold Points that can be spent on future purchases.

Zelda: Link’s Awakening launches September 20. The digital version takes up 5.8GB of space.

Update: SEGA has now clarified that the North American release will take place on November 5. The European launch is scheduled for November 8.


Original: Nintendo has revealed the release date for Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. The game will launch on November 8, the company confirmed today.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 is now available to pre-load in Europe. According to the store listing, it’ll take up 6.3GB of space.
