Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle

We have a sales update on Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, straight from the game’s director. Since launch, the Switch title has managed to sell over two million copies.

Ubisoft hasn’t said too much about Mario + Rabbids’ sales on the record. However, as of last September, it was the best-selling third-party game on Switch.

Yesterday, Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes finally received its release date. After originally targeted for the end of 2018, we’ll be seeing the game at the start of 2019 instead.

Director Suda51 offered up his reasoning as to why Travis Strikes Again is now a 2019 title. In an interview with Destructoid, he pointed to Smash Bros.:

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle just had its one year anniversary. To celebrate, Ubisoft has shared a number of statistics, including the most picked roster, enemies defeated, more.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 has seen a surprisingly long life in terms of continued DLC. Just a few days ago, Bandai Namco sent out Extra Pack 3. There was a bunch of stuff here, highlighted by the additions of Kefla and Super Baby Vegeta as new DLC.

Bandai Namco may have plans for even more DLC in the future. After datamining Extra Pack 3, a couple of additional characters may have been unearthed. We have the information below, though be warned of possible spoilers connecting to the Dragon Ball Super: Broly movie.

Grasshopper Manufacture finally gave a date to Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes this week. The game is just missing 2018, with a release planned for January 18.

The release date isn’t the only new for Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. Grasshopper Manufacture also provides an update on the indie t-shirt collaborations, specifically regarding Devolver Digital titles. Players will be able to wear a bunch of shirts based on the publisher’s games, of which the full lineup is as follows:

After mostly shying away from Nintendo platforms, Falcom had one of its latest games on Switch with Ys VIII. Nippon Ichi was brought in to help port the action RPG.

In an interview with French site ActuGaming, Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo was asked about the reason for releasing Ys VIII on Switch, the possibility of future support, and even potential interest in having Adol in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. We’ve translated those excerpts as follows:
