We have one more piece of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe news to share. Coming from Nintendo of Poland just like the art for Battle Mode, the game will feature support for the Inkling amiibo. You’ll be able to unlock a new racer outfit with the figure. Of course, outfits from Wii U are back as well.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s guide from Piggyback is now listed on Amazon UK. On the page, it reveals the amount of Shrines plus the amount for a couple of other elements. Since this may be considered a spoiler for some, head past the break for more details.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe appears to feature five different options in Battle Mode. Balloon Battle and Bob-omb Blast were previously confirmed by Nintendo directly. An image from Nintendo of Poland has since surfaced, showing what appears to be Coin Runners, Shine Thief (or Shine Runners, but unlikely if we’re getting Coin Runners), and something involving the Piranha Plant.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe launches on April 28. Nintendo will certainly have more to say about the game before then.

Update: Now out of stock. Lasted quite awhile!

Original: The Zelda: Breath of the Wild Special Edition is sold out at almost all retailers, but Walmart now has pre-orders open. You can nab a copy here. We don’t expect it to last terribly long, but we’ll update this post when it sells out.

Some new screenshots from Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch popped up last night. Those came from Amazon Japan, which also has a few images from the Wii U version. Four of the screenshots on both Switch and Wii U are in the same exact location and poses, meaning we can compare the two.

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has teased an alternate ending for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. In an interview with IGN Portugal, he said that a different ending will be shown “if you meet certain criteria.” “If you do a few things, you may see a different ending,” Aonuma teased.

A second episode of Nintendo Minute for the week has gone live. In today’s video, Shigeru Miyamoto and Eiji Aonuma stop by to share their top five favorite things about The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. View the full episode below.

Pre-orders for Switch opened in Japan today. The turnout was pretty decent, with long lines forming at various locations. Places such as Yodobashi Camera were packed with people waiting to pre-order Nintendo’s system.

Here’s a look at some of the lines:

A few days ago, we heard that The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild might feature dual audio based on a comment from a Nintendo representative. Sadly though, producer Eiji Aonuma has confirmed himself that you won’t be able to easily change languages in the game. There is no option to simply turn on the Japanese voice acting rather than the English voices.

Aonuma told IGN Portugal:

“In the case of the Nintendo Switch, if you change the language of the system, you can change the game to Japanese, but that will change everything to Japanese. Unfortunately, it is not possible to play with English text, for example, and Japanese voices.”
