Mario Kart 8 Deluxe balance changes for version 2.4.0 revealed

Fans have managed to uncover balance changes made with version 2.4.0 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
The new patch included a number of aspects, including support for the Booster Course Pass Wave 5 DLC. However, Nintendo also indicated that stats were changed for some characters and vehicles.
The Japanese website Mario Kart Blog by 7step has now put together a list of balance changes, and we also have information about new characters Petey Piranha, Wiggler, and Kamek. Meester Tweester has since compiled the information in English.

Smile For Me update out now, patch notes

The point-and-click adventure game Smile For Me just got a new update on Switch.
Included are some improvements, small additions, and fixes. The patch brings along quality of life features, with graphical updates and motion control improvements specifically for Switch players.

Haiku the Robot receiving Switch physical release

Super Rare Games announced today that Haiku the Robot will have a physical release on Switch for the first time.
The company will produce 4,000 boxed copies of the Metroidvania game. Each unit includes the title on a physical cartridge, bespoke new art, a reversible cover, a full-color manual, an exclusive sticker, trading cards, and a map of Arcadia.

Pikmin 4 is the latest Switch release from Nintendo, and with the game coming up on its release date, we’re starting up a pre-order bonus guide.
Pikmin 4 is the next entry in the series that’s taken a decade to come to fruition. It features the same sort of strategy gameplay that started on the GameCube and continues on Wii U. You’ll again be growing, plucking, and guiding little creatures who can battle enemies as well. This time around, the Ice Pikmin are being introduced. Also new is the space dog Oatchi who can perform certain actions like carrying Pikmin and players can customize their look with a creator that was recently revealed.
Splatoon 3 announces ice cream-themed Splatfest

Original (6/21): Nintendo has shared details on the next Splatfest for Splatoon 3. This time around, it’s carrying an ice cream theme.
Nintendo is asking a simple question this time around: is the best flavor vanilla, strawberry, or mint chip? Players will be able to weigh in from July 14 at 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET to July 16 at the same time.

Telenet Shooting Collection confirmed for the west, physical release included

Telenet Shooting Collection has now been confirmed for release in the west.
The package, which features Granada, Avenger, Gaiares, and Psychic Storm was previously announced for Switch in Japan. However, Limited Run Games has now revealed that it will be available for fans waiting for an English localization, and there’ll be a physical released overseas.
EA Sports FC 24 announced for Switch, using Frostbite Engine

EA Sports FC 24 is coming to Switch, and this seems to be the first notable soccer (or football) game from EA on Nintendo’s console in years.
For those that haven’t been keeping up with things, this is essentially the company’s yearly FIFA release. EA Sports and FIFA weren’t able to keep their agreement going, so it’ll be a slightly different take compared to what fans are used to seeing.
