Ultra Age gets Rebirth Project DLC on Switch, physical version for the west

Publisher Dangen Entertainment, along with developers Next Stage and Visual Dart, announced today that Ultra Age is getting Rebirth Project DLC today. The content is free and adds “a significant amount of value to the game.”
Dangen Entertainment notes that “Rebirth Project is a completely new rogue-lite side game with loads of content that can be accessed from the main menu after the player has reached a certain point in the main game.” Read more about it below.

Sonic Frontiers “Showdown” trailer

SEGA is back with another Sonic Frontiers trailer titled “Showdown”. The video gives us a little glimpse of the story, shows off plenty of gameplay, and more. The core of the title revolves around exploring the Starfall Islands, collecting the Chaos Emeralds, and getting prepared “for the showdown of a lifetime”.

Monster Harvest update out now on Switch, patch notes

A massive November 2022 update has just been released for the Switch version of Monster Harvest.
Players will find all of the quality of life 1 and 2 patches from the PC version. The lineup includes new UI, stability fixes, save system overhaul, general fixes, and new content. Merge Games says over 550 fixes have been implemented.

Witch on the Holy Night gets demo on Switch, limited edition revealed

Starting today, Switch owners can get their hands on a demo for Witch on the Holy Night, and a limited edition has been revealed.
The demo can be accessed right now via the game’s page on the eShop. This comes ahead of the official launch next month. It’s also available in all major regions, including North America, Europe, and Japan.

Nintendo has started to share details about the deals and offers it has planned for Black Friday 2022.
For those that have yet to pick up a Switch, select retailers and the My Nintendo Store will have the Switch w/ Neon Blue & Neon Red Joy-Con + Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Full Game Download) + 3 Month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership bundle for $299.99, which is a $70 value. This will be available starting November 20.

Samurai Maiden gets Iyo character trailer

D3Publisher has started to introduce the characters of Samurai Maiden, and first up is Iyo.
Iyo, a ninja who serves Nobunaga, is voiced by Miku Ito. Shinobi tools are at her disposal, and she works well with gunpowder, bombs, and flaming kunai. Iyo is said to have a great respect and love for Tsumugi and would give her life in a heartbeat to help her out.

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope reveals DLC details

Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope was known to be receiving three rounds of DLC that ends with Rayman, but Ubisoft has now come forward with some additional information.
First up is Tower of Doooom, which is planned for early 2023. With this DLC, Madame Bwahstrella needs Mario, Rabbid Peach, and their friends to clean her multi-dimensional tower and save their old friend Spawny. It’ll add a new combat game mode in which players will face highly strategic battles as they make their way to the top of the Tower.
