For years, fans eagerly awaited the arrival of the Nintendo Switch 2,  but for some, the transition hasn’t been entirely smooth. A few players are reporting issues involving Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, specifically with save data being lost during the transfer process to the new system.

A post on Reddit brought attention to the situation, with the original poster saying their save file had disappeared after the move. The thread quickly filled with similar stories from others who claim to have faced the same issue. One user, ThatOtaku26, shared that their lost file contained over 1,000 hours of gameplay and included beloved Pokemon carried over from multiple generations, dating back to Pokemon Leaf Green and Pokemon Diamond on the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS.

NickToons and the Dice of Destiny Leo TMNT

Leo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will be playable in NickToons and the Dice of Destiny, it’s been revealed. The character will have seven unique abilities including Turtle Tornado and Katana Slash.

NickToons and the Dice of Destiny was just recently revealed at Summer Game Fest. SpongeBob SquarePants was previously confirmed for the game.

How’s Nintendo Switch 2 doing in its second week? Well, Mario Kart World is still #1, so that’s an encouraging sign. Something you might get a kick out of is that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe moved up several spots – from #11 to #6.

It’s time for the latest Famitsu’s most wanted games chart outlining what Japanese gamers are looking forward to based on reader votes. There’s not too much happening this time, but Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake is again on top.

Pokemon and Violet Baxcalibur Tera Raid Battle

There’s another Tera Raid Battle event in store for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, which will feature Baxcalibur.

Players can see if they have what it takes to defeat Baxcalibur in 7 Star Raids. It will have the Ice Tera Type and the Mightiest Mark. Per usual, fans can catch it just once per save file.

Nintendo has released its maintenance schedule for the week of June 15, 2025.

Coming up over the next few days, both Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch will be impacted. One session is planned starting tonight for cloud saves with another one for network services later on.

Nintendo shared new data this week revealing the top 20 best-selling games on the Japanese Switch eShop for May 2025.

Just like in other parts of the world, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time has been dominant and comes out on top here, taking the top two spots with its Deluxe Edition and standard release. That’s not the only new game though. Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Battle Destiny Remastered is right behind at #3, and we see other new titles including Onimusha: Samurai’s Destiny at #17 and Capcom Fighting Collection 2 at #19.

Monster Crown Red King 1.1.0 update

This week, Monster Crown released a brand new version 1.1.0 update on Nintendo Switch, which is known as “Red King”.

The update comes with new content and significant improvements. Mark’s Quest, the brand-new province Dino Land with a variety of new monsters, is now available. The team has also revamped monster stat generation, battle math systems, and collision system. There are also various graphical enhancements and optimizations.
