Batman: Arkham Origins – New Millennium Skins Pack out today

Warner Bros. Interactive is releasing new DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins today. Players can now purchase the “New Millennium Skins Pack”, which includes bonus skins based on a variety of classic and modern storylines pulled from the comics:
· Red Son Batman
· Blackest Night Batman
· 1st Appearance Batman
· New 52 Graphic Batman
· Batman: Noel
· One Year Later Robin™ (available in multiplayer mode only on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC)

Ubisoft shared shipment figures for two semi-recent titles during its latest financial results conference call. Rayman Legends shipped one million while Splinter Cell: Blacklist sold two million copies of its own, according to the publisher. Ubisoft also commented on Assassin’s Creed IV’s performance, stating first week sales were lower than last year’s Assassin’s Creed III.

Digital Foundry has put up a new piece covering the technical aspects of Call of Duty: Ghosts. Various comparison videos and frame rate tests have been published (see below) along with an in-depth analysis. Ghosts has a couple of things going for it on Wii U, but Digital Foundry criticized the game’s frame rate, textures, and inconsistent level of performance.

New Olympic Winter Event Snowboard Slopestyle Makes its Debut in Wii U Game
REDMOND, Wash.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– With the Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, Russia, fast approaching, Mario™ and Sonic have been training extra hard to make sure they are ready for the biggest competition of the year. The two iconic video game characters are teaming up with their friends in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games™ launching on Nov. 15 for the Wii U™ console. In the game, some of the most loved characters from the Mario and Sonic universes like Mario, Sonic, Princess Peach™ and Tails compete in Olympic Winter Events like snowboard slopestyle, which is making its debut in both the game and the real-life Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games, as well as over-the-top Dream Events that can only exist in the world of video games. And for the first time in the Mario & Sonic series, players with a broadband Internet connection can compete in select events online against other players around the world, earning points for their home countries.

Wii Fit U’s physical release moved back a week in Europe

Wii Fit U will be coming to retail one week later in Europe. Nintendo announced a short delay for the software today, having changed its released date from December 6 to December 13. The company did not explain why Wii Fit U’s date was pushed back.
