Wii U

Darksiders Warmastered Edition, which is an updated re-release of the original game, is apparently being released a month later than originally announced. Both Amazon and Gamestop are listing the game’s release date as November 22nd, as opposed to the initially announced October 25th.

Of course, this is not an official confirmation just yet, but since the original release date is just 11 days away, we should know for sure one way or another pretty soon. We will keep you updated.

A few days ago, we heard that a new character would be revealed for the arcade version of Pokken Tournament. That mystery addition was just confirmed to be Scizor during a live stream broadcast in Japan.

And plenty of gameplay:

Nintendo uploaded a new Paper Mario: Color Splash video today that servers as an accolades trailer of sorts. View it below.

Last week, Nintendo of Europe published an interview with Splatoon producer Hisashi Nogami and general producer Katsuya Eguchi. The second part of the discussion went up today.

While the initial round of questions were mainly about Splatfest topics, this portion is much more focused on the game itself. Nogami and Eguchi were asked about Splatoon’s origins (wasn’t initially set as a shooter, not tied to a Nintendo franchise), inspiration for its style, what aspect of the game’s success they’re surprised by, and the Squid Sisters popularity.

Continue on below for Nogami and Eguchi’s comments.

13AM Games took to its Tumblr page today and shared a bunch of information about Runbow. The game originally debuted last August, but the company has been developing a New 3DS version alongside a retail release for that platform in addition to Wii U.

Speaking of Wii U, Runbow will be out physically on October 25 in North America. It will be accompanied by the final patch including Shantae as a playable character – entirely free.

13AM Games is still tinkering away on Runbow for New 3DS. There were some difficulties along the way, including the implementation of online play, so we’ll now be seeing the portable version in Q1 of next year. Internet connectivity is also taking the focus as opposed to local play and StreetPass.
