Media Create has offered some extra insight into this week’s Japanese sales.

Nintendo brought out a new Splatoon Wii U bundle on July 7. From that day through July 10, it sold about 12,000 units, according to Media Create’s data. It helped boost Wii U sales roughly 3.5 times compared to the previous week (15,470 vs. 4,444).

As for Culdcept Revolt, we previously mentioned that it sold just over 29,000 copies. While it was the top seller in Japan, sales for the game are about half of the previous release. The last entry moved 55,000 copies in its first week back in 2012.

Nintendo has shared some early information about its sales performance in the United States during the month of June 2016. Next week, the NPD report will be published in full.

In terms of actual numbers, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U has surpassed two million units sold. Smash Bros. for 3DS has topped three million units in the states.

Nintendo also said that sales of the 3DS family rose by 39 percent last month. Kirby: Planet Robobot placed fourth on NPD’s retail charts. Rhythm Heaven Megamix, a digital-only title, sat atop the eShop charts for most of the month.

Darkrai is coming to Pokken Tournament, Bandai Namco revealed today. The news was made during a live stream to promote content being added to the arcade version on July 20.

Here’s some footage:

While Darkrai’s arrival specifically applies to arcades, it’d be very surprising if the character didn’t end up in the Wii U version. Darkrai, along with Scizor and Empoleon, recently found in the game’s files.
