Nintendo planned to work with High Voltage on a water-focused robot shooter for Wii U, but leaks caused it to be cancelled

During the Wii era, High Voltage was a prominent name that often came up when talking about core titles on the console. The studio developed The Conduit series, and had at one point planned another gritty shooter in the form of The Grinder.
Taking notice of High Voltage’s work and commitment to its platforms, Nintendo reached out to the team in hopes of working together on a new shooter for Wii U. Did You Know Gaming? and Liam Robertson have today revealed details about the project, which was ultimately cancelled following a leak.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild added to the series’ official timeline, but not connected

Nintendo has issued a new version of the Zelda timeline on the series’ official portal. The big addition is that Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been placed at the very end. However, it is not connected to any of the three timelines.

Update 3 (8/4): The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Creating a Champion Hero’s Edition is up on Amazon Germany and Amazon France.
Update 2 (7/29): Pre-orders for the Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Creating a Champion Hero’s Edition have opened on Amazon UK.
Update: Also announced today is the GameStop-exclusive Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Create a Calamity Artbook Champions Edition – Summer Convention Exclusive 2018. It has the following:

Original (7/16): Amazon has revealed a special version of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild – Creating a Champion book. Launching with the regular version on November 20, the slipcase edition “features the royal blue worn by the Hylian Champion and includes the Creating a Champion art book with an exclusive cover, a map of Hyrule printed on cloth, an art print of the Champions’ photo Link hangs in his Hateno home, and a beautiful glass replica of a spirit orb.”

Nintendo million sellers – July 2018 – Tropical Freeze (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces make the list

When Nintendo shares its financial results, we always tend to get a look at updated listings of million sellers across various platforms. The company provided that information once again for the first quarter of fiscal year 2018.
Among the highlights, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze for Switch and Mario Tennis Aces have already made the list. The two have sold 1.40 million and 1.38 million respectively.
