For the latest Splatfest, players were asked to choose cars or planes as their preferred means of transportation. Despite a significant advantage in popularity for planes, Team Car was the winning side thanks to an edge in wins. The final score was 252 points for cars and 248 points for planes.

Splatoon’s latest two weapons are now live. Along with the Custom E-liter 3k Scope, players can also begin using the Custom Range Blaster.
Here’s an overview of the former weapon:
“The range and zoom are impressive, but the viewfinder is so narrow that it’s easy to leave yourself open to attack while aiming. If you’re using this bad boy, you’ll need to learn to watch your back, lest ye get splatted from behind.”
And an overview for the Custom Range Blaster:
“The Custom Range Blaster comes with a versatile sub weapon – Splat Bombs – and a special weapon that excels in close-quarters combat – the Kraken! Grab a Custom Range Blaster tonight and get ready to UNLEASH THE KRAKEN!”

Posted on 9 years ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Rumors, Wii U | 13 Comments
Last week, we reported on a serious issue pertaining to Splatoon. You can read our original post here for the full story, but essentially, some players were using an exploit to play as Octolings which would corrupt other users’ save data.
Rumor has it that Nintendo has since followed up on the situation. Supposedly, such hackers who had obtained access to content like unreleased character models/weapons have been banned at the system level.
