Following up on its Splatoon GamePad Protector, HORI is bringing out another design based on Super Mario Maker. You can reserve the new accessory here..

The officially-licensed Nintendo protector naturally covers the front and back and protects it “from dirt, scratches, and wear with this hard plastic shell”. It will release on October 20 in North America.

Polygon has put up the third video in its “Devs Make Mario” series. In today’s video, Spelunky creator Derek Yu creates a level in the game. View it below.

Castlevania and Bloodstained designer Koji Igarashi also made a Super Mario Maker level, which you can see here. A level from Videoball creator and Mario expert Tim Rogers is located here.
