We’ve already heard that Renegade Kid’s Max will be included as a character skin in Hex Heroes. Other cameos were previously teased, and it’s now been made known that the indie title will feature at least two more crossovers.

Juan from Guacamelee and Rusty from SteamWorld Dig will also be featured as cameos in Hex Heroes. And according to developer Prismatic games, “There are more surprises to come”.

Two more Virtual Console titles appear to be slated for North America. According to listings on Nintendo’s website, Dr. Mario (Wii U) and Clu Clu Land (3DS) will be available starting tomorrow. Neither title has been officially announced just yet, but we should be given a definitive confirmation when the Nintendo Download report hits.

This may have been a bit expected, but now we have an official confirmation: Game Boy Advance titles on Wii U will not support multiplayer. The news comes straight from Nintendo, who have labeled all of the upcoming GBA games for Japan as single-player only. I imagine it would have been tough to pull off multiplayer since we’re talking about a console as opposed to a handheld, though some may find this disappointing in any case.

Specifics beyond this have not been shared. We should learn more when the campaign launches on April 2.

Game Atelier intends to launch a Kickstarter next week for Flying Hamster II. Nintendo fans will be pleased to hear that stretch goals will include Wii U and 3DS versions. Additionally, if funding reaches a certain amount, the game will include local two-player co-op.

Flying Hamster II features side-scrolling, action RPG gameplay. That’s a change from the first title – originally released back in 2010 – which was a horizontal shooter.

Flying Hamster II’s Kickstarter will go live on April 4. The project itself will be completed in mid-2015.
