That’s for sure one of the things that is going to stifle innovation eventually. Anytime you want to make a big triple-A, you’re spending, let’s say $100 million, you’re not going to want to take a chance. It’s got to be, I’m making the next Call of Duty or the Assassin’s Creed and I know it’s going to make ‘X’ amount, so we’ll make money. I think that’s the tougher thing.”

Raymond went on to say that she believes developers need to find new ways to make money if they want to keep making huge, AAA, innovative titles. Budgets like that aren’t conducive to innovation unless you can find another source of revenue.
Big John Games’ newest 3DS game is titled “Smash Bowling 3D”. It’s due out this Thursday for $4.99.
Smash Bowling 3D contains two control schemes (buttons, touch), a multiplayer pass around mode, and a practice mode. Players can also spend time earning trophies, unlocking bowling ball designs and alleys, and going over their various stats tracked by the game.

Xenoblade Chronicles’ rarity has continued to rise over the past few months. Likewise, GameStop’s price for a pre-owned copy has increased. Xenoblade is now at a point in which it has become the retailer’s most-expensive pre-owned game.
It’s not in stock online at the moment, but a used copy will set you back $90 in store. Only two products on GameStop’s site cost more in the pre-owned section: the “Xbox 360 Bang for the Buck Game Bundle” and “Ultimate Epic Zombie Bundle“. Both of these, however, include multiple games.
Ed Boon is once again up to his teasing ways. The NetherRealm Studios creative director tweeted another clue for Injustice: Gods Among Us’ next character DLC, shown below. It’s music from the 1990 pinball machine “FunHouse”.
