Jumanji: The Curse Returns finally has a release date on Switch. Nearly a year after it was announced, the game will be making its way to Nintendo’s platform on June 13, Marmalade Game Studio confirmed today.

Jumanji: The Curse Returns is based on the 1995 classic film. In it, players can see iconic locations as they roll the dice, read riddles, and face dangerous creatures and plants from the jungle. Different threats will appear, including giant mosquitos, raging stampedes, monsoons, and the hunter, Van Pelt. The end goal is for the team to work together under pressure to save the town.

Pokemon Unite received its latest update, bringing the game to version 1.5.1.6. This applies to both the Switch and mobile versions.

Today’s update is highlighted by the new type of Quick Battle, Catch ‘Em. There are also bug fixes, text fixes, event updates, and shop updates.

Mercenaries Blaze: Dawn of the Twin Dragons, which first released in 2020, will now have a physical version. This comes thanks to Limited Run Games, which announced that it will be offered as part of its distribution line.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe saw physical sales increase by 19 percent. Pokemon Legends: Arceus rose by 21 percent, Minecraft on Switch went up 2 percent, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons gained 17 percent.

The Pokemon Company reported its latest financial results today, and it turns out that it was another record year.

Sales were reported at 204 billion yen (about $1.6 billion). Gross revenue stands at 98 billion yen (roughly $700 million). We also know that operating income came in at 59 billion yen (roughly $470 million) while net profit was 41 billion yen (roughly $325 million).

Ahead of its release on Switch eShop this Thursday, gameplay for narrative-driven adventure game Fishing Paradiso has emerged. Altogether, twenty six minutes of footage are available.

Moonrise Fall will be launching on Switch eShop on June 3, publisher GrabTheGames have announced. This puzzle adventure game sees you taking on the role of a boy who recently lost his parents in a car crash, exploring a forest in search for clues. The game was previously released on Steam in 2019 and is now making the jump to Nintendo’s console.
