The next major Switch update, version 13.1.0, has just gone live. It includes the introduction of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
The patch notes for today’s update are actually quite small. That goes to show that the firmware upgrade is indeed all about Switch Online.
Nintendo says the following about today’s 13.1.0 Switch update:
Those that are interested in picking up the physical version of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on Switch may be disappointed to hear that a download will be required. That news comes directly from the game’s boxart, which was posted by Target today. You can check out the design above.
Based on the download requirement, it looks like GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition cannot be played on its own if you purchase the physical version. The game’s file size is just over 25GB, so it looks like Rockstar opted against going for a bigger cartridge size. This often happens, though we did see The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt entirely on the cartridge despite clocking in at over 31GB.
Extensive gameplay has emerged for the new Switch demo of Blue Reflection: Second Light. It shows both the “Prologue” and “Story” sections.
Here’s some additional information about the game:
In celebration of Día de Muertos, Pokemon GO will be hosting a special event for the holiday. Look for it to go live on November 1 at 1 AM local time, ending on November 2 at 8 PM local time.
Like most events, a few bonuses are planned. These include Lure Modules and Incense that last for 90 minutes as well as 2x Catch Stardust. For those in Latin America and the Caribbean, there’ll also be +1 Bonus Transfer Candy, plus featured event Pokemon will be appearing even more often in the wild and these creatures will be attracted even more frequently to Incense/Lure Models.
Ravenscourt and DESTINYbit are far from finished with Dice Legacy, as a new Memories Update was recently announced.
The Memories update for Dice Legacy includes lots of content as well as features and fixes requested by the community. It includes a full active pause, accessibility options, and Memories – a completely new modifier system that unlocks after finishing the game that introduces a lot of variety and replayability.
