Book V has arrived in Fire Emblem Heroes. Check out what’s happening below, along with how to get your hands on free orbs for summons:

  • Today’s server maintenance concluded at approximately 11 PM PT. In other news, there are special quests, a castle design, and a Log-In Bonus to celebrate the start of Book V! See the in-game notification for more information.
  • Forging Bonds: Driven by Vision is here! For up to seven days during the event, you can earn 2 Orbs the first time you clear a map (once per day). You can receive rewards such as accessories, First Summon Tickets, and Divine Codes (Ephemera 12)!
  • Mythic Hero Reginn: Bearing Hope from Book V, as well as three New Heroes from the Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones game, are here! There are also new story maps that start off Book V, along with limited-time quests, and a Log-In Bonus where you can get up to 13 Orbs.

If you’ve been keeping your eye on the latest Story of Seasons release, you’ve likely seen the recently-detailed Premium Edition. Today, though, it would seem that more game details are in order. A swath of new information has come from Marvelous, and with it a huge batch of screenshots of the various systems and townsfolk. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light launched on Switch in English a few days ago. To celebrate, My Nintendo has added in a new reward.

North American members can now get their hands on a wallpaper based on Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light. It’ll set you back 50 Platinum Points.

Interestingly enough, the first bit of Black Friday 2020 sales data concerning Switch’s performance stems from Spain. The company put out a press release outlining a few key figures.

The biggest piece of news is that, during Black Friday week in Spain, Switch held a 72 market share. That’s not the only piece of data shared though.

Revealed in the same press release is that Switch has sold a total of 1.57 million units in Spain to-date. We’ve also learned that Mario-related games have sold 2.4 million copies on Switch Switch at Spanish retail.

As reported earlier today, the rhythm game Lofi Ping Pong will be appearing on the Switch eShop tomorrow. Take a look at some footage in the video below.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition will initially release on the Switch eShop next month. For those that prefer having a boxed copy, there may eventually be a physical option for you.

Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley said on Twitter today that he’s working on making a physical version happen. If it does come to fruition, it’ll be after the initial digital launch.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition will be appearing on the Switch eShop starting January 14.

There are a few different lawsuits in motion when it comes to defending against Joy-Con drift with Switch controllers in the United States. Now, however, there’s significant news coming out of Europe as well.

Today, the Dutch Consumers’ Association asked for Switch owners to report any problems they have experienced with their Joy-Con. It has also teamed up with consumer organizations in Belgium, France, Greece, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Slovakia, and the European umbrella organization BEUC. A joint investigation has moved forward to see what can be done to protect consumers from Joy-Con drift.

Nicalis today announced HyperParasite as its latest physical release for Switch. The game will be out on store shelves starting on February 19, 2021.
