While not overly major, the Switch eShop has received some new functionality that may improve discoverability.
In the past, if you were interested in viewing screenshots of the game, you needed to visit the actual page. Now, however, you can simply hover over the listings in the eShop’s different sections. It works with all of the different categories – “Featured”, “Coming Soon”, and more.

The survival-horror adventure game The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters will launch on Switch in May, publisher Headup Games and developer Devespresso Games announced today. A specific date has not yet been confirmed.

Railway Empire: Nintendo Switch Edition was first expected on Switch on February 14. After it was delayed shortly before release, it was moved to March 27. Kalypso Media ended up pushing the game back yet again after that.
In an announcement today, Kalypso said it will now release Railway Empire: Nintendo Switch Edition on June 19. We’ll have to see if that date ends up sticking, but we’ll let you know if any other changes are made.
For the time being, here’s some information and a trailer for the game:
A new My Nintendo app is now available in Japan, which is available for both iOS and Android.
The app has a number of different features. Users can access news, purchase products, and check in at certain venues with their QR code. It also comes with play records for Switch, 3DS, and Wii U. This lets players look up the games they’ve played the longest, and even the day that titles were played for the first time.
It’s unclear if a similar app will eventually be offered in other regions as well.
The story-driven survival game Help Will Come Tomorrow is making its Switch debut today, and we have a new gameplay trailer. You can view it below.
We knew the beta was coming soon, but preload is now live for the Ninjala demo.
The full version of Ninjala launches on the eShop on May 27th, but those interested in participating in the beta test event can get a feel for the title beginning on April 28th after downloading the game’s demo by clicking here,or directly from the Switch eShop. A new update is arriving for Dragalia Lost on April 26th at 8:00 PM PT. It is also worth noting that another change will be in effect as well, as the reward for completing the “Link a Nintendo Account” endeavor will increase from 100 to 1,200 wyrmite on Apr. 27, 11 PM PT. Players who already linked a Nintendo Account can still receive 1,200 wyrmite as an endeavor completion reward. As for the details of the update to 1.19.0, check out the full list after the break:
Square Enix has announced a day one update for Trials of Mana. It’s not too big of a patch, but we do know that it will add in three dash methods.

Earlier tonight, Nintendo announced a new Maximus Cup for Tetris 99. Players can earn a new Ring Fit Adventure theme by participating in the event and earning a certain amount of points.
