Two days ago, Nintendo announced that they would be offering a free trial version of Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers in Japan. Today, Nintendo of Europe revealed a similar offer for their territory, albeit with a different game. If you have an active Nintendo Switch Online subscription, you can download and play Mario Tennis Aces for free from August 7 till August 13. Starting on August 7 till August 20, the game will also be on sale on the eShop for 30% off. If you decide to buy the game, you can carry over your progress from the trial version.

Also, Nintendo is officially calling this program Game Trials. It remains to be seen what game, if any, they will offer in North America as part of this program.

Komi Games has announced that they are bringing the multiplayer arena fighting game Mighty Fight Federation to Switch. 

The game is planned to launch sometime in Q2 of 2020. A description of the game, as well as screenshots and a trailer, can be viewed below.

A new update is now available for God Eater 3, bringing the game up to Version 1.45.

The main aspect of this update is that it adds “EX Time Attack Missions”. More details can be found in the official patch notes below.

Square Enix has confirmed that they will be holding a live stream on August 8th that will cover the last free update for Dragon Quest Builders 2.

The broadcast will go live at 21:00 JST. It will feature game producers Noriyoshi Fujimoto and Takuma Shiraishi.
