A number of new deals are up and running on the North American Switch eShop. These include Immortal Redneck, Jackbox Party Pack 4, The Sexy Brutale, and more.
Here’s the full roundup of sales:
Atelier Rorona DX, Atelier Totori DX, and Atelier Meruru DX all made it to the Switch in the west a few days ago. We have footage from each of these three titles below.
Nintendo is gearing up for even more maintenance over the next few days. Switch will be the only platform impacted thus far, with three different sessions planned starting tonight.
The current maintenance schedule is as follows:
Media Create reported this week that Persona Q2 sold 80,000 copies in its first week. The sales tracker has since provided additional tidbits about the game’s performance.
Compared to the first game, Persona Q2 didn’t do quite as well. The original managed to sell 187,000 units in its first week. Also, while that title sold through 80.64% of its initial shipment, Persona Q2 sold through 64.54%.
While that may seem a tad disappointing, Persona Q2 did have the best opening week of any 3DS game in Japan this year. It surpassed Etrian Odyssey Nexus’ number of 72,000 copies. Given that the momentum for 3DS hardware is on the downturn and interest has shifted to Switch, Persona Q2 had a decent result in the end.
Nintendo is continuing to support the 3DS with new themes. This week, two more Pokemon designs were added to the shop.
Pokemon: Team Aqua and Pokemon: Team Magma are out now in North America, Europe, and Japan. They’re priced at $1.99 each.

Activision confirmed this week that it has plans to remaster the PlayStation classic Crash Team Racing. It’ll be coming to Switch next June as Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled.
Following the announcement, creative director Thomas Wilson from Beenox shared a few words about the project. He spoke about the team’s intentions to be authentic to the original game, improvements for this iteration, and more.
Super Smash Bros. originally started out as a game with Nintendo-only characters. However, over the past few entries, we’ve seen more and more third-party representatives.
Speaking with EDGE this month, Smash Bros. director Masahiro Sakurai gave some insight into the process of working with third-parties and getting their characters into the game. Here’s what he shared on that front:
While Switch owners are still waiting on Dragon Quest XI, the RPG technically came out well over a year ago. That leaves some fans wondering when we’ll see the next true entry in the series. Creator Yuji Horii commented on that very subject during a panel at the computer entertainment developers conference CEDEC + KYUSHU 2018.
Level-5 president and CEO Akihiro Hino moderated the panel, and asked Horii, “How is the 12th entry going?” That prompted Horii to say, “I actually already came up with the keywords, but I can’t say anything here. (Laughs.)”
Usually when NIS America announces a game for the west, it’s accompanied by a limited edition. That’ll be the case for Lapis X Labyrinth, which was announced for North America and Europe earlier today.
