Dengeki Online has confirmed that Nippon Ichi Software is working on a game called Closed Nightmare and it is coming to the Switch in Japan on July 19th.
Closed Nightmare is about a woman named Maria Kamishiro who is lured by a woman named Chizuru, who detains her. Having lost her memories and her left arm paralyzed, she is forced to participate in a mysterious experiment. The game will play out in four parts: “live-action movies,” “text,” “exploration,” and “challenges.”

A new wave of photos have apparently emerged from the Detective Pikachu film set. Images show extras dressed in Pikachu and Snorlax outfits as well as green-screen suits, actress Kathryn Newton in a red blazer with the pin “CNM” under her lapel, a group of cast members dressed in silver outfits with matching purple baseball caps, and more. Anime News Network also reports that large balloons were released into the sky as actors Ken Watanabe and Bill Nighy looked on.

It’s important to note that the Detective Pikachu movie isn’t intended to be a full recreation of the game. As one example, Lucy went by the name Emilia Christie in the English game and wasn’t sassy.

Miitomo has been updated with new content. Players can nab the latest items in the Miitomo Drop stage, “Big top fashion! Miitomo Circus #2”.
Available items include:

Users can select Miitomo Drop stages from the Shop tab. Miitomo coins or game tickets are needed to play.
It was around this time last night that Nintendo confirmed that a new update for ARMS would be released today. That patch, version 5.3.0, has now gone live.
Today’s update is highlighted by the addition of the “Dashboard”. Here players can view the latest worldwide and regional rankings, Party Crash ranking by time slot, and more. Another 15 images have also been added to the Gallery.

Last week, Rocket League received its major Tournaments Update. It unfortunately brought about some new issues, but Psyonix has been on the case since then. Rocket League will be getting another update very soon, though until it’s live, cross-platform play will be disabled on the platform.
