The Strong and the International Center for the History of Electronic Games have announced the 2018 World Video Game Hall of Fame finalists. Highlights include Metroid, Minecraft, and Ms. Pac-Man.

The full lineup of nominees is as follows:

New content is being added today to Minecraft on both Switch and Wii U. The highlights are the Halo Mash-Up Pack as well as the Star Wars Sequel Skin Pack.

Alongside the DLC, Switch and Wii U are both receiving a new update tonight / tomorrow. We have the full patch notes below.

It’s been several months since Morphite came to Switch. But just recently, the game received an update that adds in support for gyro controls.

Planning on picking up the English physical version of Hello Kitty Kruisers on Switch? If so, you’ll be entitled to a Sanrio iron-on badge. Rising Star Games announced on Twitter today that consumers will receive one of six badges when purchasing the game.

Curve Digital has announced that it has partnered with Infinite State Games, and has picked up Rogue Aces for publishing. The aerial combat, arcade rogue-lite will be heading to Switch on April 12. Pricing is set at $12.99 / £9.99 / €12.99.

Rogue Aces has players outflanking, barrel-rolling, and dogfighting their way through 2D procedurally generated World War 2 scenarios. We have further details and a trailer below.

Original (3/25): There aren’t too many third-party amiibo around, but FromSoftware is producing a special Solaire of Astora figure. It’s being released alongside Dark Souls: Remastered in May.
