Nintendo just sent out a new update for Splatoon 2. The latest version for the game is 1.1.2.
Today’s update addresses an issue with the SplatNet Gear Shop as well as a problem with displaying ranking information. Additionally, Nintendo adjusted the number of points required to fill the special gauge for a few weapons.
We’ve posted the full patch notes below.
Our last bit of Overcooked: Special Edition is a new video shared by Videogamer. Below, you can get a look at the game, which launches tomorrow on the Switch eShop.
Switch is getting a big indie game shortly in the form of Overcooked: Special Edition. For those wondering, the game takes up 748MB of space. You’ll be able to purchase and download Overcooked on Switch tomorrow.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut has been heavily discounted on the North American Wii U eShop. The game normally costs $49.99, but is currently down to $12.49.
Unless we’re mistaken, this is the first sale for Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut on the eShop. Having launched in 2013, it has taken almost four years for Square Enix to slash the original price.
Thanks to Jake for the tip.

Update: Ninja Spirit and Victory Run are also confirmed for tomorrow. They are $5.99 each as well.
Original: Air Zonk is slated for the North American Wii U Virtual Console this week, according to a listing on Nintendo’s website. Konami will be bringing the game out tomorrow.
Here’s an overview:
Air “Zonk” is a spin-off of the popular Bonk’s Adventure series. The powered-up Zonk gathers his friends to form Team Cool, and they set out to stop King Drool’s plan to conquer the world. Choose from 3 levels of difficulty and 3 types of Friend Modes. Shoot King Drool’s cyber robots and avoid their attacks while collecting the Air Bones to unleash a variety of attacks. Enjoy unique moves such as combining with a friend to create an invincible hybrid form or blasting enemies with a charged attack.
Air Zonk will set you back $5.99 on the Wii U eShop.
A new update was issued for Minecraft: Nintendo Switch Edition yesterday, and it was a fairly significant one. When playing docked, the game runs at 1080p as opposed to 720p with previous versions. It makes a big difference with the right TV, especially compared to the initial 720 display.
Digital Foundry has also discovered that texture filtering has received a boost on Switch. No compromises were made, as Minecraft still has a render distance between 11 and 12 chunks while docked. The world is also still at the medium 3072×3072 block setting.
Digital Foundry explores Minecraft’s new patch in detail – including frame rate – in the video below.
Polygon put up a new video today containing 15 minutes of direct-feed footage from the upcoming Switch RPG Lost Sphear. Check it out below.
New Frontier Days: Founding Pioneers has received a first update. Version 1.1 is available, clocking in at 61MB.
The update primarily consists of three aspects. Arc System Works added in a function that lets you select multiple pioneers at once plus more languages, and balanced the story mode. Full details on the update are below.
We finally have an official understanding as to what happened with the Super NES Classic Edition pre-orders on Walmart’s site last Friday. Unfortunately, the retailer is just now sending out emails stating that reservations were open “due to a technical glitch”. It seems that all orders are being cancelled.
Here’s an excerpt from a Walmart order email we received:
