Minecraft just released its latest major update, “Spring to Life”. This is also known as version 1.21.70.
The new update brings along a ton of new stuff. It features warm and cold variants for various passive animal mobs, new foliage blocks to biomes, and ambience features.
The full rundown is as follows:
A few days back, we reported on The Repair Job, one of Xenoblade Chronicles X’s most egregious affinity quests. It’s particularly troublesome if you accept it as soon as it becomes available – at that point, you likely won’t have many probes placed around Mira. The first half of this quest is straightforward: talk to an NPC and then head to Starfall Basin to search the White Whale debris for specific parts. Once you return to the West Gate, you’ll be given the option to agree with Lin (the mechanical error should be fixed) or Tatsu (you want to stop working and get something to eat). The scene frames Lin as the one in the right, so we’d imagine many players chose to sympathize with her. And if you do, the quest becomes a bit more complicated.

Multiple sources are pointing to the possibility of a Nintendo Direct taking place later this week.
This is not to be confused with the Nintendo Direct: Nintendo Switch 2 event planned for April 2, and is also just a few days away. We would only be hearing about games lined up for the current console.
Later this week, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet players will be able to experience the latest Tera Raid Battle event, which features Tyranitar.
This time around, Tyranitar will have the Ghost Tera Type. It will be quite the challenge as the Pokemon will be appearing in 7 Star Raids. As usual, it has the Mightiest Mark and can be caught just per save file.

For over 25 years, the Atelier series has carved out a unique space in the RPG genre, blending alchemy-driven crafting, character-driven narratives, and a laid-back sense of adventure. Since its debut in 1997, the franchise has evolved through multiple generations, refining its various beloved systems while maintaining the core charm that maintains its long-lived fan base. Unlike the high-stakes, world-ending plots of traditional RPGs, Atelier games often focus on personal growth, discovery, and the joy of creation – where gathering ingredients and crafting the perfect item can be just as satisfying as toppling a powerful foe. At times you may do both in quick succession, even.
Palworld developer Pocketpair appears to be open to a Switch 2 version of the game, despite the company’s ongoing lawsuit with Nintendo / The Pokemon Company.
At GDC 2025 last week, IGN spoke with communications director John ‘Bucky’ Buckley, who was asked about the possibility of a version happening on that console. It sounds like the team is very much open to considering the possibility so long as it’s technically possible. Buckley even said that a Nintendo Switch 1 version would have happened, but “Palworld is a beefy game.”
