As part of today’s Gamescom festivities, Bloomtown: A Different Story received a release date. Those looking to pick it up on Switch can do so starting September 24, 2024.

It’s been a little over a year since we originally reported on Bloomtown: A Different Story. First planned for Q2 2024, the game slipped a bit and is now dropping next month.

More content is incoming for Risk of Rain 2 as a Seekers of the Storm expansion is launching in just a few days. It’ll head to Switch on August 27 for $14.99.

Seekers of the Storm introduces the mighty antagonist False Son. It also features the first stage in franchise history with gameplay-altering Day and Night phases.

Chaosmonger Studio is bringing its new game Speedollama to Switch, the studio just announced. It will be available on October 21, 2024.

My Nintendo just updated with a new physical reward, and members can now pick up the Splatoon 3 Grand Festival Wristband.

Splatoon 3 will soon be hosting its very last Splatfest. To celebrate, you can wear the wristband proudly. Nintendo says it will be offered while supplies last.

Red Art Games today not only provided a release date for Macross: Shooting Insight in the west, but also shared news about a physical release on Switch.

The game is now confirmed for December 6, 2024 in North America and Europe. Previously, it came to Japan in March.

Macross: Shooting Insight will receive both ESRB (US) and PEGI-rated (Europe) physical versions. Various retailers will be selling the standard edition. There’ll also be two special editions – ESRB-rated versions from VGP and PEGI-rated versions from the Red Art Games online store.

New data from Circana gives us a look at the best-selling games of July 2024 specifically on Switch.

We already mentioned that Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition came in #6 on the multiplatform chart, so it’s no surprise that it’s #1 here. Something else that’s a bit notable is that Super Mario Party comes in at #5 after it was #30 in June.

Circana has released a listing of the top ten best-selling games in the U.S. for the month of July 2024.

In its first month, Nintendo World Championships: NES Edition cracks the top ten and lands at #6. After debuting at #8, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD now falls to #15. Keep in mind that everything for Nintendo does not account for digital data.

Sometimes You, along with CH757, today announced the imminent release of Billy’s Game Show on Switch. The title will be ready to go on September 4, 2024.

Billy’s Game Show, a stealth horror game, involves finding three hidden heads and ultimately escaping. Full details can be found in the following overview:

August 14: Disney Dreamlight Valley is gearing up for its next update, which is known as Dapper Delights. It’ll come to Switch on August 21, 2024. On the same day, Treasures of Time – Act III for the paid Expansion Pass, Disney Dreamlight Valley: A Rift in Time, arrives on the same day.

As part of Gamescom 2024 today, the first LEGO Mario Kart sets were properly revealed following the initial announcement earlier in the year. Plus, there’s even more coming for the more Animal Crossing line.

The lineup of Mario Kart sets include Yoshi Bike, Standard Kart, Donkey Kong & DK Jumbo, Baby Mario vs. Baby Luigi, Toad’s Garage, and Baby Peach & Grand Prix. Everything will be releasing on January 1, 2025.

On the same day, the Animal Crossing line will be expanding again. Upcoming sets include Stargazing with Celeste, Leif’s Caravan & Garden Shop, and Able Sisters Clothing Shop.
