CoroCoro, the Japanese magazine, will be getting a tie-in with Splatoon. Leaked images from the upcoming issue show that three new pieces of gear, all emblazoned with the CoroCoro logo, will be hitting the game. These are a Splat Roller (which has the stats of the regular Splat Roller, but comes with a Splash Wall and Inkzooka), an orange cap (with the Damage Up ability), and an orange parka (with the Cold-Blooded ability). These items will arrive in-game early in the summer. Furthermore, more weapons should arrive at the same time, as the next volume of the Sheldon’s Picks weapons.

More:

More footage has arrived of the new Wii U eShop indie title Color Symphony 2. The video below has around 18 minutes of footage.

With The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass hitting the North American Wii U eShop today, we wanted to take one more look at the Virtual Console release. Here’s 20 minutes of gameplay:

Citizens of Earth is no longer available on the 3DS eShop, and if you’ve been keeping up with recent news, you probably know why. A homebrew vulnerability was discovered within the game just a few days ago. Nintendo was expected to follow up on that, and they certainly have.

It’s unclear if/when Citizens of Earth will reappear. The exploit will definitely need to be addressed before it returns. The situation is a bit awkward, as Citizens of Earth was just included in the Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle. Redeeming codes from the bundle do still seem to work (currently), so you only can’t purchase the game directly from the eShop.

Thanks to biki4 for the tip.

Mario Strikers Charged came out on the European Wii U eShop earlier today as the latest Wii download. View some footage below.
