A handful of screenshots from Pokemon Sun/Moon have emerged. To see the latest images, view the gallery below.
The next big update on Pokemon Sun/Moon should be shared next week. The Pokemon Company has teased some sort of information for August 1.
Like most companies, Capcom reported its financial results for the first quarter of this fiscal year (April 1st till June 30th, 2016). With few major releases this past quarter, sales were low – 10,927 million yen (down from 14,541 million yen in Q1 2015), resulting in an operating loss of 726 million yen (down from a 2,026 million yen profit in Q1 2015). The strong yen also caused some losses for the company.
In its financial report, Capcom also comments on a game released on a Nintendo platform – they state that Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice “sold largely as planned with sales supported by core users”. While the game didn’t sell as much as the previous game in the series, Dual Destinies (about 196,000 copies in its first week compared to Dual Destinies’ 247,000), it seems like Capcom is content with these numbers.
After last night’s Level-5’s livestream, Nintendo Enthusiast reached out to them about potential for their announced games to be on NX. Level-5 neither confirmed nor denied working on NX projects, instead stating “We can’t confirm any releases for the NX, but we very much enjoy working with Nintendo.” With Nintendo’s secrecy about the NX, it’s not too surprising to be given a vague answer.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has to be careful with its LEGO games. Not only does the publisher support the on-going LEGO Dimensions with new packs, but it also brings out entirely new games from time to time, such as LEGO Jurassic Park and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Having LEGO Dimensions alongside new titles entirely can obviously can create a bit of a difficult situation. Doug Heder, producer at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, recently spoke with Polygon how the company needs to avoid cannibalizing sales of its own games.
Heder noted:
Super Smash Bros. for Wii U will be having maintenance tonight. During this time, network services will be unavailable. Since the maintenance is only listed for the Wii U version, it is most likely just to fix network issues and will not be a balance patch. The times are:
– 5:00 PM PT – 7:00 PM PT (July 28)
– 8:00 PM ET – 10:00 PM ET (July 28)
– 1:00 AM in the UK – 3:00 AM in the UK (July 29)
– 2:00 AM in Europe – 4:00 AM in Europe (July 29)
When Level-5 unveiled Lady Layton earlier today, they did so by issuing a debut trailer. One fan has now gone to the trouble of putting English subtitles on the video. Check it out below.
