GameSpot has posted a few more minutes of Dragon Quest VII from its appearance at San Diego Comic-Con 2016. Watch the video below.
Pokemon GO is now available in Japan. To celebrate, Niantic’s John Hanke and Game Freak’s Junichi Masuda shared a few words. Most of the message is from Hanke, though Masuda’s comments are unfortunately available in Japanese only.

Aside from the video, Nintendo issued a notice on its investor’s website about its forecast in response to Pokemon GO. Essentially, things are staying the same from now. You can read the full message below.

Wii U and 3DS will be impacted by maintenance next week. Both systems will be affected for a couple of hours, which involves online play, rankings, etc.
Maintenance is set for the following times:
– 9 PM PT (July 27) – 11 PM PT (July 27)
– 12 AM ET (July 28) – 2 AM ET (July 28)
– 5 AM in the UK (July 28) – 7 AM in the UK (July 28)
– 6 AM in Europe (July 28) – 8 AM in Europe (July 28)

It’s finally here! Splatoon’s last ever Splatfest is now up and running. This weekend’s battle has the Squid Sisters going head-to-head – it’s Callie vs. Marie.
The last Splatfest will end at 2 AM PT / 5 AM ET / 10 AM in the UK / 11 AM in Europe on Sunday. It’s unclear when the results will be made available, but we’ll bring them to you as soon as possible.
Niantic has currently stopped accepting requests for new gyms and PokéStops in Pokémon GO. Furthermore, there is now a form with which people can request gyms and stops to be removed from the game. That can be accessed here. This will hopefully improve the game by removing these from inappropriate, unsafe, or private places.
