Axiom Verge is making its way to Wii U soon, but that might not be the only Nintendo platform it ends up on. The game’s developer recently made a comment suggesting that a port could come to the NX as well.
The full statement reads:
I got a piece of good news today that indicates I might be able to have Axiom Verge ready for NX at launch…but basically that was as far as my source even knew. So I still have no idea what the system is like and still am reading sites like this to try and guess.
We’ll have to see what happens over the next several months. Hopefully by the end of the year we’ll have a clearer idea about which games will end up on NX.

Rainy Night Creations has another FreezeME patch on the way. The latest update is arriving next Tuesday in Europe and soon in North America.
FreezeME’s new update makes several adjustments and changes to improve the experience. Below are the full patch notes:
The Squid Sisters, the hosts and performers of Splatoon, performed another live concert at ongoing Japanese gaming event NicoNico Choukaigi. You can watch the performance below, which actually includes a few new songs. Stay fresh!
Japanese gaming event NicoNico Choukaigi is currently running, and the stage show included a live demo of Ace Attorney 6 gameplay. You can watch archived footage of the demo below.
There was also a 15-second commercial for the game, although a better quality version should be airing later in the week.
Nintendo Badge Arcade has introduced a new arm type in Japan. Pictured above is the Stick Arm, which has users holding down the button until it’s on the desired spot. Once released, the arm extends all the way down and pushes badges. We’ll have to see when this is added to the overseas version of Nintendo Badge Arcade.
Mighty No. 9 has suffered through several delays. The last time we heard about the game in an official capacity was in January, when it was pushed back to “Spring 2016”. Could it now be seeing another delay?
A display at EB Games is currently showing Mighty No. 9 as launching in “Summer 2016”. That’s most definitely not a confirmed time frame, but it is a bit concerning. There were actually rumors earlier this week about Mighty No. 9 possibly being moved back to December, although it was later proven inaccurate.
What’s maddening about this all is how little we’ve heard from the Mighty No. 9 team about the situation. If the title is still on track for spring, you have to wonder why things have been so quiet. The end of the season is less than two months away after all!
Conan O’Brien has been running a successful “Clueless Gamer” on his late-night talk show for quite while now. In the latest video, he showcases Mario Kart 8 along with actors Seth Rogen and Zac Efron. You can see it in full below – note: contains some crude language and images.
Emily Rogers has returned with some new speculation about Retro Studios’ new project. As one would expect, this new title would be on NX.
Rogers wrote on Twitter a short while ago that the title in question isn’t Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, or Diddy Kong Racing 2. She adds that the project is planned for 2017.
Below are Rogers’ tweets:
Rumor part 2: Not Diddy Kong Racing 2 either. It sounds more like a new IP.

If I get any updates on this, I'll let you all know.
