Atlus has announced a new Persona game of sorts for the 3DS. The project, titled “Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth”, is coming to Japan on June 5, 2014.

Shadow of the Labyrinth is a spin-off, mixing characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4. The game is presented in a chibi style. Players can expect dungeon-crawling gameplay and battles similar to Etrian Odyssey IV.

Screencaps from Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth’s debut trailer can be found above.

Call of Duty: Ghosts launched in Japan last week. How’d the Wii U version do? Not too well, though it did do slightly better than other prominent Wii U titles.

Sales reported by Dengeki (tracked by ASCII Works) indicate that the game sold 2,508 units in its first few days on the market. Interestingly, that’s better the debuts of both Rayman Legends and Sonic Lost World.

Namco Bandai has trademarked “Zombie Stampede”, “Dead Hunters”, and “Bloodbath Boulevard” in Japan. Each was registered on the same day, interestingly enough. Given Namco Bandai’s previous habits, any of the three could be the name of a single title Namco Bandai is planning for the future.

In Japan, Namco Bandai has registered a new trademark for “Empire of Dreams”. The name was registered on October 29th and published in the database today.

Does Empire of Dreams sound familiar? It should if you’re a Klonoa fan. Namco released Klonoa: Empire of Dreams for the Game Boy Advance well over a decade ago. Could this filing be at all related?
