Koei Tecmo today unveiled its initial lineup for Tokyo Game Show 2020 Online. Thus far, we have confirmation that Atelier Ryza 2 will be shown, but we’ll also be seeing brand new Dynasty Warriors series games and more.

Koei Tecmo and Gust have offered up the latest details on Atelier Ryza 2, the sequel to a title that has shipped over 500,000 units worldwide. Today’s update covers the synthesis system, characters, and bonuses for buying early plus those that have save data from the previous game.

Monster Rancher 2

Koei Tecmo intends to release Monster Rancher 2 on Switch in Japan next month, the company has announced. A release is scheduled for September 17 as an eShop download.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV

Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV is coming to Switch, Koei Tecmo has announced. It will be released in conjunction with the “Diplomacy & Strategy Expansion Pack”.

Although Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV has released on other platforms previously, this is its first appearance on Switch. The extra pack also “introduces for the first time in the series the ability to trade with Eurasia as well as new strategies that change depending on how the territories unfold, among other features”.

Atelier Ryza 2

Famitsu recently published an interview with the producer of Atelier Ryza 2, Junzo Hosoi. We shared a summary here of some of the details, but we’ve now translated additional information for anticipating fans to enjoy. Hosoi discussed the sales of the first game, the setting for the sequel, new characters, a hint at a new battle mechanic, hints at returning characters, and more.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 - Killer

Bandai Namco has released the first screenshots of newly-revealed DLC character Killer in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. View the images below.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is out now on Switch. Killer will be included with X Drake and another unannounced character in an upcoming DLC pack.

The latest issue of Weekly Jump has revealed another DLC character for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. Killer is joining the roster, according to the magazine.

Killer should be a part of the next character pack this fall. A third unannounced character should also be included in the pack. We’ll be seeing another DLC pack this winter as well.

Fans may recall that Killer was included in an apparent datamine for the game, which gives credence to the leak. Other rumored characters can be found here.

Atelier Ryza 2

Retailer listings have revealed the release date for Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. In Japan, the RPG will be out on December 3.

Pricing for Atelier Ryza 2 is set at 8,580 yen. There will also be a Premium Box for 11,935 yen and a 26,873 yen Special Collection Box.

Koei Tecmo and Gust have outlined the DLC release dates for the Fairy Tail Season Pass. Content is expected to drop through the middle of September.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 recently received its first batch of DLC. Charlotte Smoothie, Charlotte Cracker, and Vinsmoke Judge are featured in the first character pack.

As we know, two more packs are planned, and each will contain another three characters. X Drake has already been announced, and it now seems we have the identities of the five remaining roster additions.
