The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening

Ahead of its launch next month, Nintendo has opened the North American teaser site for the Zelda: Link’s Awakening Switch remake. Access it here.

The full site will open soon, but there’s already a decent amount to check out. Fans can view a trailer, screenshots, gameplay information, and more.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Nintendo has started to launch the pre-load option for Zelda: Link’s Awakening. Currently, digital pre-orders are live in Europe and Japan. North America should be following soon.

Those in Europe can take advantage of a new My Nintendo offer. If you pre-load the game, you’ll receive double the Gold Points when it’s released. Buy it on the eShop before September 22 to receive £5.00 worth of Gold Points that can be spent on future purchases.

Zelda: Link’s Awakening launches September 20. The digital version takes up 5.8GB of space.

GameStop has announced an exclusive bonus for Zelda: Link’s Awakening purchases. If you buy the game, you’ll receive the double-sided poster pictured above.

You can pre-order Zelda: Link’s Awakening on GameStop here. The game arrives for Switch on September 20.

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

Nintendo has shared a new interview with Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma all about Link’s Awakening. During the discussion, Aonuma spoke about how he’s always wanted to remake the Game Boy title, why Chamber Dungeons are a good fit here, what the inspiration behind the art style was, and more.

The Nintendo UK store has opened pre-orders for the Zelda: Link’s Awakening Limited Edition. You can secure a copy here.

A couple of extra variations are available. Those pre-orders include a rupee lamp, though the standard version can be pre-ordered as well.

Nintendo UK has shared new comments from Eiij Aonuma, the producer of the Zelda series, about Link’s Awakening. Aonuma discusses the new Chamber Dungeons feature and more.

The limited edition includes a few goodies. You’ll receive the game card, a classic Game Boy themed steelbook and 120-page art book.

GameXplain has shown more of the Zelda: Link’s Awakening E3 2019 demo – specifically Mr. Write, Dampé, and a little of Tal Tal Heights. That was done by acquiring Roc’s Feather and leaving the dungeon early and exploring the overworld. Check out the footage below.
