Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble update 1.20

Super Monkey Ball: Banana Rumble is getting a big version 1.20 update, including the new Gem Heist Battle Mode game plus a collaboration with Dole Food.

Outside of new content, a bunch of improvements and fixes are planned. These include the ability to skip the clear animation, cutting down on Battle Mode lag, and more.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe update 3.0.3

Somewhat surprisingly, Nintendo just issued a new version 3.0.3 update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. However, there isn’t really much here.

According to the official patch notes, we get the same line we’ve seen many times from Nintendo before about addressing issues. Specifics weren’t shared about what was actually addressed.

Splatoon 3 update 9.1.0

Nintendo is sneaking out another update for Splatoon, which will bring the game to version 9.1.0. This will be available in just under an hour – 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET / 2 AM in the UK / 3 AM in Europe.

For those participating in the imminent Grand Festival event, you’ll need to access the latest patch as data for it has been added. Also, a few bug fixes have been implemented as well.

Trombone Champ is receiving a new update on Switch today with the game moving up to version 1.29B.

The main highlights are two new songs. “The Can-Can” and “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2” have been added to the game.

Wylde Flowers has released “Magical Creatures”, or version 1.7.1, as its latest update. This will be the last major patch for the title.

The latest wave of content is now available, and players will look to restore Fairhaven’s. Elsewhere the game is adding new creatures, new jewelry, new recipes, and more.

No Man’s Sky continues to receive big updates, and the next one known as “Aquarius” has now been announced. It should be rolling out soon on Switch.

Today’s update is highlighted by the addition of fishing. There’s a lot here between various types to catch, the deployable Exo-Skiff, finding messages in bottles, and more.

Tracks: Toybox Edition came to Switch a few years ago, but it just received a pretty big version 1.7 update.

Described as a quality of life patch, a number of improvements have been added. The game now features autosave and quicksave support, toybox enhancements, and even Brazilian Portuguese. There are other aspects as well like bug fixes.

CounterAttack: Uprising was updated on all platforms today, including Switch, to version 1.1.5.

The update features improved cross-region online cross-platform matchmaking, bigger player controllable capital ships, and lots of small improvements and enhancements. A new global lobby will help pilots find each other more easily.

Temtem update 1.8

Temtem just went live with its latest update, version 1.8. This will be the last major patch for the game.

It’s a big update, with Crema making a shift towards “easier everything” as well as a “kinder economy.” The game now has better Luma and Umbra rates, a permanent Store, an improved Saipark, an option to skip combat animations, the chance to select and complete any Tamer Pass at any given moment, new items, additional Pansuns during the campaign, and more.
